Meine Meinung:
Wunderbare Märchen, die man seinen Kindern durchaus vorlesen kann, auch wenn dabei vielleicht einige Erklärungen für die Kleinen sein müssen. Für Erwachsene definitiv auch geeignet, da man sowohl 'Liebesgeschichten' (The Fountain of Fair Fortune & The Warlocks hairy heart) wie auch Spannendes (The Tale of the three brothers) und nachdenklich Stimmendes (The Wizard and the Hopping Pot) in diesem Buch findet.

Die erste Geschichte The Wizard and the Hopping Pot zum Beispiel fordert den Leser gerade zu auf, sein eigenes Verhalten noch einmal zu überdenken. Sie fordert in meinen Augen dazu auf nicht immer nur an sich selbst zu denken, sondern auch seinen Mitmenschen gegenüber offenen Herzens zu sein und ihnen in schweren Zeiten zur Seite zu stehen.

Die zweite Geschichte The Fountain of Fair Fortune zeigt, dass man durch Zusammenarbeit und Selbstlosigkeit mehr erreichen kann, als durch Selbstsucht und falschen Stolz.

Die dritte Geschichte The Warlock's Hairy Heart demonstriert, was passieren kann, wenn man sich gegenüber seinen Gefühlen über verschließt und schließlich von diesen überrollt wird.

In der vierten Geschichte Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump ist zu lesen, zu welchem Ende Lug und Trug führen können.

Und die fünfte Geschichte The Tale of the Three Brothers dürfte dem geneigten Harry Potter Leser hinreichend bekannt sein, immerhin geht es in dieser Geschichte um die Heiligtümer des Todes (Deathly Hollows) und ihre ersten Besitzer.

Mein Fazit: Ich bereue diese Anschaffung nichts, immerhin tut man mit dieser Ausgabe auch noch was Gutes. Pro Ausgabe werden 1,61 Englisches Pfund an die Children's High Level Group gespendet.
