Meine Meinung:
Clary lebt jetzt bei Luke, da ihre Mutter noch immer im Koma liegt. Miss Lightwood hat Jace aus dem Haus geworfen, weil sie ihn schützen will, dieser kehrt aber zurück und verärgert den Inquisitor aus Idris, so dass er in die Silent City geschickt wird, wo er gefangen gehalten wird.
Er bekommt dort hautnah mit, wie Valentine die Silent Brothers tötet, da diese das zweite Mortal Instrument, das Soul-Sword, bewachen und wird von Clary, Alex und Isabelle befreit. Magnus Bane bietet an ihn für sie gefangen zu halten, während sie versuchen mehr über Valentines Pläne herauszubekommen. Dazu gehen sie auch ins Reich der Feen, wo Clary etwas isst und daher das Reich nur verlassen darf, wenn sie die Person küsst, die sie liebt. Ich verrate jetzt nicht, wer das ist. Findet es selbst heraus ^.~ Gesagt sei nur so viel, es ist nicht die Person, die hofft es zu sein und das daraus ungeahnte Konsequenzen entstehen.
Clary und die anderen stellen sich Valentine in einem ernsten Kampf. 
Es geht also spannend weiter und hat mich wieder gefesselt. Ich konnte das Buch kaum zur Seite legen.
